Flanagan's originated in 1988 with the vision of an Irishman by the name of Jack Flanagan. Bermuda needed an Irish Pub and he was the man to build it. Shortly thereafter, another Irishman, Thomas Gallagher took over the business, but kept the name. The business was passed on again a few years later to Mickey Adderley and finally was purchased by the current owners in 2007, a partnership of Bermudians who plan to continue the Irish traditions started by their predecessors. The current owners can be found on any given day working behind the bar, in the restaurant or in the office. They work hard to make Flanagan's a place that everyone who comes here feels welcome in. Legends Sports Bar was opened in 1994 by Thomas Gallagher as a new atmosphere to add to the Flanagan's experience. It was officially opened in November of 1994 by the Hon. C.V. "Jim" Woolridge, "The Voice of Summer". The Sports Bar has come a long way since then and the current owners plan to bring it further. Legends will be undergoing a major renovation project starting June of 2009 and completing in time for the NFL season. There are many improvements on the horizon for the Flanagan's team. Keep up to date and check in with our website for details on the developments Flanagan's has in the making.
